When quality matters call IWP! Not all timbers in the market are suitable for exposed applications. IWP offers #1 Free of Heart Center (FOHC) and Free of Wane (FOW) timbers that have been sorted prior to drying to ensure that face knots and edge knots stay in place. We work with mills that select drying methods to minimize visual and structural defect. When timbers are seasoned dried slowly, stress and defects are minimized and the pitch is “set” (hardened).
IWP now offers 2 & Btr dimensional lumber and appearance grade boards in KDDF to enhance your project! Both pair perfectly with KDDF timbers. Our dimensional lumber is structural and beautiful and our appearance grade boards are hand selected for quality… and both are in stock today!
S4S Dimentional Lumber is 2-Face Exposed. Product could meet #1 grade, but it is not stamped. Mill Certs no longer provided.
