Kebony Clear Decking

IWP is excited to announce Kebony Clear Decking is now available from all locations.  Kebony is modified through a unique patented process.  The first modification impregnates the fibers with an eco-safe furfuryl alcohol, and the second modification transforms the wood with heat.  The modification process strengthens the cellular structure of the wood and enhances stability.  Additionally, the process darkens the wood bringing out the rich, beautiful, brown tones.

Sustainably sourced from Radiata Pine, Kebony delivers the appearance and performance of a fine hardwood.  The clear grain adds to its strength and beauty, and the modification process ensures the decking will maintain its benefits, year after year.  Kebony is an environmentally friendly choice containing no toxins or chemicals, making it safe for people and pets for the lifetime of the deck.  Kebony’s original color can be maintained with regular finishing,  but naturally ages to a beautiful silver if left untreated, so you spend more time enjoying your deck and less time working on it.   Kebony cleans easily with just a brush and water.

Available in two sizes and three profiles, Kebony decking is a versatile product with multiple options for fastening; grooved deck boards are designed to work with Fastenator Hidden Fasteners, can be face-fastened, or secured with the Starborn ProPlug System.
