There is no substitute for the beauty of clear Western Red Cedar, and IWP is proud to offer a variety of dimensions and lengths. Cedar is more than just beautiful; its high resistance to decay, durability, and dimensional stability make it a perfect choice for trim and fascia applications. Our green clear cedar is a C &Better grade; a high quality lumber for use where appearance is important. In addition to interior and exterior trim, lumber of this grade is used for applications such as cabinets and doors.
IWP’s green clear cedar is Surfaced 1 Side 2 Edges (S1S2E) with a resawn face or Surfaced 4 Sides (S4S) as noted in the table below. S1S2E is graded for the resawn face. Clear cedar is sold on a random length basis, which means the tally we sell is representative of what we receive. In general, you can expect 50% 8’ & 10’, 35% 12’ & 14’, and 15% 16’ to 20’.
